“Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” was published in 1968. It has been adopted and turned into the classic sci-fi movie “Blade Runner” with Harrison Ford as the bounty hunter Rick Deckard. Even today it is a masterpiece ahead of its time. By 2021, the World War had killed millions, driving entire species into extinction and sending mankind off-planet. People emigrated to a new place to start a new life, the Mars. But Mars was a hard place to live and needed a lot of man power to do the hard work, that’s why humans started to build android, an artificial human which resembled a real man in every aspect. Emigrees to Mars received androids so sophisticated it was impossible to tell them from true men or women. But some of those artificial humans tried to earn their own life and free will, and they killed their masters and fled to Earth. These Nexus-6 androids, the most advanced ones among them, didn't want to be identified, they just blended in. Rick Deckard was an officially sanctioned bounty hunter whose job was to find rogue androids, and to retire them (kill them). He showed no mercy to androids because they were man-made. But during the hunt, he found that they were no different than humans. Some of them had false memory and thought they were really human. That made Rick Deckard start to think what is “human”, and he even doubted himself as an android with a false memory. When he met the android girl Rachael, things became extremely complicated.
