Albert Einstein was a legend. His achievement in Science was awarded with the Nobel Prize(1922), the MaxPlanck Medal(1929) and also named by Time Magazine, “The Person of the 20th Century”. Elizabeth MacLeod, the author, described Albert Einstein’s whole life from his early childhood, his teenage studies, his work in a patent shop, to his years in universities across Europe and in US, during which he did physics researches and published papers. His family life, passion and being a peace advocate were included. Besides, he used to made speeches in public. People all round the world admired him and liked listening to whatever he said. Einstein once said,“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problem longer.” Many theories that he developed about time, light and gravity resulted in many inventions. His famous equation , has led to nuclear power, radiation therapy and more. This book was published successfully because of Elizabeth MacLeod’s hard work. Thanks to Professor Allan Griffin who reviewed the pages and made sure both the facts about Albert and the physics were correct.
