Here is another vampire fiction i highly recommend, it is book 1 of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. This book is a true epic of the vampire culture, it begins when a reporter interviews with the Vampire Louis. Louis talks all about his life, including how he was fasinated by his friend and lover, Vampire Lestat, and halfly tempted to become a Vampire. However, after he was born to darkness, he hated himself, hated drinking blood, because he still have a 'human' in his heart, he loves humans and don't want to hurt them. In his 200 years life, he was suffering from his own emotional pain and the his identity. The books lead you to the vampire's world through Louis's perspective, I was totally fasinated by the Louis's description of everything about being a vampire in his own story, like how he feel the beating of the victims' heart while drinking their blood, and the peace he find through drinking blood, however conflicting with the goodness in his human heart. For those who truely loves Vampires and addicted to vampire culture rather than liking the teen romance in twilight, read this book, soon you will find it a page-turner!
